Taking place upstairs in The Baltimore Room, there will be a Black Butterfly History Exhibit on display & a presentation based on his book The Black Butterfly.
Food will be sold by Tio G's Empanada & Latin Kitchen.

Lawrence T. Brown is a writer, speaker, scholar, and urban Afrofuturist. Dr. Brown is the author of The Black Butterfly: The Harmful Politics of Race and Space in America. Additionally, he is the founder and director of the Black Butterfly Academy LLC, an educational consulting firm. Currently, he is a research scientist in the Center for Urban Health Equity at Morgan State University.
